Sage North America has given its payment system a new name and a new user interface. Formerly Sage Exchange, the platform is now known as Sage Exchange Payment Management System. Sage says the platform provides consolidated access to all payment accounts and devices; advanced payments administration and reporting; and integration tools to connect payment systems with Sage accounting products.

Passport Software has released Cashpoint, an accounting application for NCR Counterpoint, a POS system.  Cashpoint provides bank deposit automation and the vendor file synchronization for Counterpoint. The application's design allows for the creation of multiple Cost Centers for management of multiple stores. Cashpoint includes the following modules: Accounts Payable,  General Ledger and  ​​Check Reconciliation.

Cougar Mountain Software has released Denali 4.0, the latest version of core accounting software system. This release includes the Payroll module. Enhancements have been made to all of the most commonly used modules including Accounts Receivable, Purchase Order, Order Entry, and Inventory with several reports also updated.
