Sage has named Ron McMurtie as chief marketing officer, after he served as an interim CMO since November. Before that, he was  EVP of customer marketing for the software company from November 2016 through September 2017.

Compensation for named executives for Infor dropped back to relatively normal levels for the year ended April 30, 2018. Compensation for 2017 was inflated by bonuses handed out for their work on the major investment in Infor by Koch Industries.

Joe Kaplan, CEO of Paya, died while on vacation with his family in Bermuda on Friday, July 27, the company has announced. Paya is the former Sage Payments which was acquired by GTCR after Sage spun off the unit in 2017. Kaplan was hired as CEO in October.
